Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sergei Sudeikin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Curtain Design for Sadko sold for GBP 113,400.00 (€ 133,142.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sergei Sudeikin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Panels for the Cabaret Prival Komediantov in Petrograd in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 680,500.00 (€ 792,959.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergei Sudeikin erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Curtain Design for Sadko für GBP 113.400,00 (€ 133.142,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Sudeikin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Panels for the Cabaret Prival Komediantov in Petrograd im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 680.500,00 (€ 792.959,40).
