Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Group Of Six Drawings by Sergei Chekhonin was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,696.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergei Chekhonin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Roses, Anemones And Chrysanthemums In A Chinese Vase in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 320,446.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Group Of Six Drawings von Sergei Chekhonin wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.696,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergei Chekhonin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Roses, Anemones And Chrysanthemums In A Chinese Vase im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 275.000,00 (€ 320.446,49).
