Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Russian Motherhood by Sergei Soudeikine. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,043.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergei Soudeikine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Oriental Scene, Circa 1923 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 241,000.00 (€ 154,804.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Russian Motherhood von Sergei Soudeikine zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.043,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergei Soudeikine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Oriental Scene, Circa 1923 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 241.000,00 (€ 154.804,73).
