Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman Seated on Steps by Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 302,400.00 (€ 337,807.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of The Pechera Monastery, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 513,300.00 (€ 718,752.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman Seated on Steps von Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 302.400,00 (€ 337.807,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Of The Pechera Monastery beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 513.300,00 (€ 718.752,80) versteigert wurde.
