This artwork by Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2017. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Beggars At The Monastery Gates sold for GBP 162,500.00 (€ 184,461.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View Of The Pechera Monastery, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 513,300.00 (€ 718,752.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Beggars At The Monastery Gates für GBP 162.500,00 (€ 184.461,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergei Arsenievich Vinogradov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View Of The Pechera Monastery beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 513.300,00 (€ 718.752,80) versteigert wurde.
