Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2002 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Serge Vandercam for EUR 454.10. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Serge Vandercam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bois in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 3,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2002 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Serge Vandercam für EUR 454,10 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Vandercam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bois im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.720,00.
