Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Livre by Serge Férat was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 57,782.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Serge Férat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lacerba, 1913 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 396,544.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Livre von Serge Férat kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 57.782,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Serge Férat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lacerba, 1913 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 396.544,00.
