Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Seen. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,625.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Seen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superman Who, 2009 in February 2012 with an auction result of EUR 95,957.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Seen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.625,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Seen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Superman Who, 2009 im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 95.957,00.
