Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
When the work Hot Stuff by Seen was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 600.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,136.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Seen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superman Who, 2009 in February 2012 with an auction result of EUR 95,957.00.
