Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work King Solomon Sacrificing To The Idols by Sébastien Bourdon. The price achieved of USD 34,375.00 (€ 26,282.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sébastien Bourdon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Deposition From The Cross in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 281,000.00 (€ 208,148.15).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 34.375,00 (€ 26.282,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden.
