The »bidding war« ended at USD 12,700.00 (€ 12,017.41), 27% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sebastião Salgado have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Serra Pelada, Gold Mine, Brazil' in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 104,738.15).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 12.700,00 (€ 12.017,41) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sebastião Salgado auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Serra Pelada, Gold Mine, Brazil' im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 104.738,15).
