The work Roskeeragh by Sean McSweeney was sold in the Irish and 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in May 2004. It achieved a price of GBP 6,572.50 (€ 9,861.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. With this result, Roskeeragh is even the most expensive work of art by Sean McSweeney that we have observed at auctions so far.
