The work Dublin Docks by Seán Keating was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,403.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Seán Keating achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Feast of Bridget in May 2003 with an auction result of GBP 139,650.00 (€ 194,567.61).

Die Arbeit Dublin Docks von Seán Keating kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.403,54) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Seán Keating erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Feast of Bridget im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 139.650,00 (€ 194.567,61).
