The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,440.23), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Seán Keating achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Feast of Bridget in May 2003 with an auction result of GBP 139,650.00 (€ 194,567.61).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.440,23) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Seán Keating erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Feast of Bridget im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 139.650,00 (€ 194.567,61).
