This price was achieved in the auction Property of the Scheringa Museum of Realist Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sean Henry; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Way It Will Be sold at auction in October 2021 with the realized price of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,694.60).
