Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Scottie Wilson was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2007. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 532.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Scottie Wilson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Overlapping Heads in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,960.82).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Scottie Wilson kam im August 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 360,00 (€ 532,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Scottie Wilson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Overlapping Heads im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.960,82).
