Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fantastical Composition; two further untitled works by Scottie Wilson was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,071.29). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Scottie Wilson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Overlapping Heads, which sold at auction in July 2012 for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,960.82).

Die Arbeit Fantastical Composition; two further untitled works von Scottie Wilson kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 2.071,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Scottie Wilson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Overlapping Heads beobachtet, die im Juli 2012 für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.960,82) versteigert wurde.
