Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Butterflies and fish by Scottie Wilson was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 864.76). Admittedly, works by Scottie Wilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Overlapping Heads in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,960.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Butterflies and fish von Scottie Wilson kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 864,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Scottie Wilson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Overlapping Heads im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.960,82).
