This artwork by Xavier Della Gatta achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2011. In the Old Masters & 19th Century Art auction, the work A set of three Neapolitan costume studies; and A set of three Neapolitan street scenes sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,296.42) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xavier Della Gatta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Naples, Vue Du Palais Royal De Portici, Avec Le Vésuve En Éruption; Naples, Vue Du Port De Portici in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 138,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xavier Della Gatta erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit A set of three Neapolitan costume studies; and A set of three Neapolitan street scenes für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.296,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xavier Della Gatta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Naples, Vue Du Palais Royal De Portici, Avec Le Vésuve En Éruption; Naples, Vue Du Port De Portici im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 138.750,00.
