Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life With Flowers In A Yellow Vase by Sacha Moldovan for USD 4,688.00 (€ 3,297.00). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Sacha Moldovan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature morte avec les fruit et fleurs in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,754.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers In A Yellow Vase von Sacha Moldovan für USD 4.688,00 (€ 3.297,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sacha Moldovan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature morte avec les fruit et fleurs im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.754,42).
