This artwork by Sacha Moldovan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September last year. In the American Works of Art auction, the work Still Life with Flowers and Fruit sold for USD 7,012.50 (€ 7,168.05) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sacha Moldovan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nature morte avec les fruit et fleurs, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,754.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sacha Moldovan erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Works of Art wurde die Arbeit Still Life with Flowers and Fruit für USD 7.012,50 (€ 7.168,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sacha Moldovan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nature morte avec les fruit et fleurs beobachtet, die im September 2008 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.754,42) versteigert wurde.
