Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Landscape On The Edge Of Town by Sacha Moldovan. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 3,955.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sacha Moldovan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature morte avec les fruit et fleurs in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,754.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape On The Edge Of Town von Sacha Moldovan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 3.955,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sacha Moldovan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature morte avec les fruit et fleurs im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.754,42).
