Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sarah Charlesworth could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Vision of a Young Man changed hands for GBP 375.00 (€ 456.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sarah Charlesworth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seated Buddha (from 0 + 1) in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 21,767.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sarah Charlesworth konnte im Juni 2010 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Vision of a Young Man für GBP 375,00 (€ 456,03) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sarah Charlesworth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seated Buddha (from 0 + 1) im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 21.767,30).
