Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Infinitely Repeating Pattern III by Sanya Kantarovsky was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 19,050.00 (€ 17,522.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sanya Kantarovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No Eyes in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 390,600.00 (€ 462,755.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Infinitely Repeating Pattern III von Sanya Kantarovsky kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 19.050,00 (€ 17.522,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sanya Kantarovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No Eyes im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 390.600,00 (€ 462.755,51).
