In October 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Revenge of the Goldfish by Sandy Skoglund. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,757.71), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Sandy Skoglund have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work The Green House, 1990 was auctioned for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 46,411.86).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Revenge of the Goldfish von Sandy Skoglund zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.757,71) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sandy Skoglund konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit The Green House, 1990 für GBP 37.250,00 (€ 46.411,86) versteigert.
