Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California, which included the work Untitled, circa 1962 by Sandú Darié. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,295.00 (€ 2,345.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandú Darié achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made In California durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, circa 1962 von Sandú Darié zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.295,00 (€ 2.345,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandú Darié erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
