In March 2002 Christies in London held the auction British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures, which included the work 'Artist's models', a spaniel and a cairn terrier by Samuel Fulton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,564.49), 29% above the upper estimate. Other works by Samuel Fulton have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,446.80) in October 2006 for the work Collie.
