Auction result well in line with expectations
The work YAFA 67, 2022 by Samia Halaby was sold in the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in February last year. The price achieved of GBP 892.50 (€ 1,067.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Samia Halaby achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mediterranean #279 in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 400,000.00 (€ 446,534.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit YAFA 67, 2022 von Samia Halaby wurde im Februar letzten Jahres in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 892,50 (€ 1.067,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Samia Halaby erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mediterranean #279 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 400.000,00 (€ 446.534,98).
