Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Water Lillies by Samia Halaby was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,699.28). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Samia Halaby achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mediterranean #279 in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 400,000.00 (€ 446,534.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Water Lillies von Samia Halaby kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.699,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Samia Halaby erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mediterranean #279 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 400.000,00 (€ 446.534,98).
