Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Samara Scott for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,082.03). This price was achieved in the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Samara Scott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,916.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Samara Scott für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.082,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Samara Scott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.916,33).
