Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Sam Moyer was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,965.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sam Moyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flo's Fern in September last year with an auction result of USD 42,840.00 (€ 43,790.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sam Moyer wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.965,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sam Moyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flo's Fern im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.840,00 (€ 43.790,25).
