This work without title by Sam Friedman was sold in the Trespassing auction at Christies in New York in July last year. It achieved a price of USD 16,380.00 (€ 16,055.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sam Friedman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 29,009.65).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sam Friedman wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Trespassing bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 16.055,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sam Friedman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 29.009,65).
