Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A hunting party in a wood by Salomon Rombouts was sold in the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2000. The price achieved of NLG 11,702.00 (€ 5,482.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Salomon Rombouts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A village kermesse with figures in July 2019 with an auction result of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 49,407.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A hunting party in a wood von Salomon Rombouts wurde im November 2000 in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 11.702,00 (€ 5.482,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salomon Rombouts auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A village kermesse with figures im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 45.000,00 (€ 49.407,01).
