Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work An Encampment In A Landscape With Soldiers On Horseback, Children And Peasants by Salomon Rombouts was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Salomon Rombouts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A village kermesse with figures, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 45,000.00 (€ 49,407.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An Encampment In A Landscape With Soldiers On Horseback, Children And Peasants von Salomon Rombouts kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Salomon Rombouts mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A village kermesse with figures beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für GBP 45.000,00 (€ 49.407,01) versteigert wurde.
