Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Shadow by Sally Michel Avery was sold in the American Art Online auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,823.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sally Michel Avery achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Mug in May last year with an auction result of USD 88,200.00 (€ 82,191.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shadow von Sally Michel Avery wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion American Art Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.200,00 (€ 2.823,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sally Michel Avery erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Mug im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 82.191,78).
