Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Sherry and Granny", 1983 by Sally Mann was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 34,000.00 (€ 2,879.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sally Mann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Candy Cigarette in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 257,000.00 (€ 205,107.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Sherry and Granny", 1983 von Sally Mann kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 34.000,00 (€ 2.879,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sally Mann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Candy Cigarette im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 257.000,00 (€ 205.107,74).
