Auction result well in line with expectations
The work White Form On Green (Painted In 1991) by Sadamasa Motonaga was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 15,160.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sadamasa Motonaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,300,000.00 (€ 1,215,768.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit White Form On Green (Painted In 1991) von Sadamasa Motonaga wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 15.160,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sadamasa Motonaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.300.000,00 (€ 1.215.768,70).
