Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kino by Sadamasa Motonaga was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 168,000.00 (€ 20,962.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 240,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sadamasa Motonaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 10,300,000.00 (€ 1,215,768.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kino von Sadamasa Motonaga wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 168.000,00 (€ 20.962,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sadamasa Motonaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.300.000,00 (€ 1.215.768,70).
