In October 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 2006 by Sabhan Adam. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,861.00 29% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sabhan Adam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,741.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2006 von Sabhan Adam zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.861,00 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sabhan Adam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.741,68).
