A top price for Sabhan Adam - as previously expected
In October 2008 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Sabhan Adam. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 22,000.00 – 28,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,741.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Sabhan Adam that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sabhan Adam zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 22.000,00 – 28.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.741,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sabhan Adam, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
