Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sabhan Adam could be acquired at Bonhams in London in November 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work Untitled (Four Faces) changed hands for GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,708.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sabhan Adam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,741.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sabhan Adam konnte im November 2020 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Four Faces) für GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.708,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sabhan Adam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.741,68).
