Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Helliotropism by S. Dwi Stya Acong was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,901.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by S. Dwi Stya Acong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Meteor Garden, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,520.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Helliotropism von S. Dwi Stya Acong wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.901,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von S. Dwi Stya Acong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Meteor Garden beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.520,30) versteigert wurde.
