The work Garden Party by S. Dwi Stya Acong was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,942.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by S. Dwi Stya Acong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Meteor Garden, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,520.30).

Die Arbeit Garden Party von S. Dwi Stya Acong wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.942,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von S. Dwi Stya Acong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Meteor Garden beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.520,30) versteigert wurde.
