It achieved a price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,551.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by S. Dwi Stya Acong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Meteor Garden, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,520.30).

Die Arbeit Immigrants From Heaven von S. Dwi Stya Acong kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.551,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Für andere Arbeiten von S. Dwi Stya Acong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Meteor Garden beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.520,30) versteigert wurde.
