The work Dongeng Sebelum Tidur by S. Dwi Stya Acong was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,382.54) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by S. Dwi Stya Acong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Meteor Garden in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,520.30).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Dongeng Sebelum Tidur von S. Dwi Stya Acong wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.382,54) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von S. Dwi Stya Acong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Meteor Garden im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.520,30).
