Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Edo period (1615-1868), late 18th/early 19th century by Ryuryukyo Shinsai was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,298.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ryuryukyo Shinsai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Edo Period (1615-1868), Circa 1820 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,812.50 (€ 32,661.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Edo period (1615-1868), late 18th/early 19th century von Ryuryukyo Shinsai kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.298,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ryuryukyo Shinsai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Edo Period (1615-1868), Circa 1820 im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.812,50 (€ 32.661,74).
