Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2009 Christies in London held the auction Photobooks, which included the work Kobe 1995. After the Earthquake. Tokyo: Telescope, 1995. by Ryuji Miyamoto. The price achieved of GBP 375.00 (€ 429.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ryuji Miyamoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kobe - After The Earthquake, 1995 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,456.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photobooks durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kobe 1995. After the Earthquake. Tokyo: Telescope, 1995. von Ryuji Miyamoto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 375,00 (€ 429,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ryuji Miyamoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kobe - After The Earthquake, 1995 im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 10.456,27).
