This price was achieved in the auction ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ryoko Kato - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work K.A.M.I.S.A.M.A & Utopia 0 Chome, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 223,500.00 (€ 18,399.97).
