Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Australian The Drover by Russell Drysdale was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in November 2009. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 36,000.00 (€ 21,951.98). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Russell Drysdale achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian rocky Mccormack in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 1,890,000.00 (€ 1,103,283.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Australian The Drover von Russell Drysdale kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 36.000,00 (€ 21.951,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Russell Drysdale erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian rocky Mccormack im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 1.890.000,00 (€ 1.103.283,80).
