A top price for Russell Drysdale - as previously expected
The work Australian rocky Mccormack by Russell Drysdale was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 1,800,000.00 – 2,200,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 1,890,000.00 (€ 1,103,283.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Australian rocky Mccormack is the most expensive artwork by Russell Drysdale that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Australian rocky Mccormack von Russell Drysdale kam im August 2008 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion.
